Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. She is best known for her role as Bo in the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk was produced by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She is Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her most fond memories of watching TV and attending play rehearsals. She met her new husband, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's training located in Los Angeles in 2007. In December 2009 they married after a civil wedding ceremony. They renewed their vows on on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton at a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, her second son was born on May 13, in 2016. Silk's work on television is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 Silk was a part of Bo Dennis, the lead role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the final season episode. She announced the pregnancy to fans of the series during a Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. CNN has named Bo's character along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched television couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple for 2013.
