Aurora Aksnes, born June 15 1996 in Stavanger and professionally referred to as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized in the form of AURORA is an Norwegian musician and singer. Her debut E.P. Responding to her mother's suggestions that her children shouldn't be trying to be famous through their songwriting skills, she instead be aware of the significance of them and their impact on society. The mother of her child suggested that she be able to perform her music publicly in order to help people realize their own importance and how they can affect the world. Family members didn't even have any idea about it until she turned 14. Aurora's success was never the goal of her. As she says, she loves writing music. For her, music is the best method to experience anything.
